After blackening the teacher’s face and taking him around in Jamda township, the women handed him over to the Barjamda OP police via Barjamda market on foot.
Teacher used to enter the toilet of girl students
Jamda Basti and Women’s Organization President Meenakshi Devi and Secretary Priya Devi told that for the last few days, teacher Prem Kumar used to forcefully show pornographic videos on mobile to the girl students studying in the school by sitting on his lap. Used to do obscene acts with girl students. He used to forcefully enter the girls’ toilet when they went to the toilet.
When the girl students protest, he makes some excuse or the other and beats them up. When the girl students complained about the incident to their families, the women of the colony became very angry. Angry women of Khas Jamda Basti reached Badajamda on Thursday while visiting the school. Wearing a garland of shoes and slippers while fighting with the teacher, brought him from Jamda Basti to Badajamda.
Women and aggrieved girl students have also handed over a letter written by women’s organization to the Deputy Commissioner to give proper punishment to teacher Prem Kumar Poddar. In this, apart from President Meenakshi Devi, Secretary Priya Devi, Kamla Kui, Aarti Soren, Jyoti Suren, Sushmita Devi, Sukhmati, Aarti etc. have the names of dozens of women. At present, the teacher is being interrogated at Barajamda police station.
