Disney Plus Hotstar Web Series Dahan Raakan Ka Rahasya Trailer: Disney Plus Hotstar has released the trailer of its new web series ‘Dahan – Raakan Ka Rahasya’. Dahan introduces the story wrapped in mystery, thrill and horror, starring Tisca Chopra and Saurabh Shukla in the lead roles. The series is directed by Vikrant Pawar, while the series is written by Nisarg Mehta, Shiva Bajpai and Nikhil Nair.
What is the story of Dahan?
The story of Dahan is set in a fictional village, Sailaspura, also known as the land of the dead. For years, the residents of the place have been feeling the supernatural forces here. Tisca Chopra plays Avni Raut, an IAS officer who goes there on posting to the DM. In Shailaspura, the administration wants to complete a mining project, which is being opposed by the local residents.
They are afraid that if Mayavi wakes up due to digging under the ground, then there will be destruction in the village and the surrounding area, there will be piles of dead bodies. Saurabh Shukla plays the role of ‘Pramukh’, who is against the mining project. The show will also feature Rajesh Tailang, Mukesh Tiwari, Ankur Nayyar, Rohan Joshi, Lehar Khan in pivotal roles. The series is produced by Deepak Dhar and Rishi Negi.
When will Dahan web series release?
Dahan is a web series of nine episodes and the series is being streamed from 16 September on Disney Plus Hotstar. Regarding the series, director Vikrant Pawar said – With Dahan – Rakan Ka Rahasya, we have created a show that will scare the audience through mythological and supernatural elements. Not only the characters and themes, the background and locations of the scenes have also been used to create horror.
The viewers will be eager to know the mystery wrapped around Shailaspura. Tisca said about her character – The most important thing about Dahan is that every character is fighting with himself. My character Avni Raut is struggling in personal and professional life. He has some internal and external conflicts. Saurabh said – Dahan brings together the story of myths, legends and superstitions. Being the chief, the villagers have unwavering faith in me. This is what sets this character apart that the one whom he worships, he fears the most.
